Once again the learners and staff of King Edward High School took the lion’s share of prizes at the Municipal and District prizegivings.

Amenta Sibi was the star of the show with her brilliant matric results. Other matric prize winners were Sinalo Nyakambi, Anand Nair and Tyrese Myburg. Lelethu Nontwana and Esona Nikiwe received recognition for their provincial and district achievements in cultural activities.

Mrs Prinsloo, Mr Niehaus, Mrs Swanepoel, Mrs Theron, Mr Philip, Mrs Lategan and Mrs du Toit were named as the top educators in the district. Other educators were recognised for having taught the best performing learner. King Edward High School received the prize for the top school in the Alfred Nzo District.

We are grateful to the Local Municipality and District Municipality for their ongoing support and appreciation of King Edward High School. The Department of Education is also thanked most sincerely for their encouragement and support.
