On 22 April, the Grade 12 learners travelled to de Hoek farm to watch the Hamlet play in a novel environment. Due to Covid, the learners could not watch the live play at the Durban Playhouse as was tradition and alternative arrangements were made to ensure that they could still experience the play.
On arrival, they received a warm welcome and taking advantage of the scenery and the fresh air, they set off on a short hike up the mountain-side. After a week of stressful tests, a day away from school was all the Grade 12 class needed. With the combination of being both restful and educational, the learners left having been given one more experience to remember in the years to come.
