Weekend Sports
The game of rugby remains one of the biggest driving forces behind effective school discipline and a healthy school culture. The requirements necessary for a young man to learn all the skills that allow him to become a fine gentleman are reinforced by the characteristics needed to be a fine rugby player. Elements such as respect, humbleness, tenacity and sportsmanship are key attributes for success on the sports field, as well as in life. KEHS rugby is much more than a game, it is a way of life, showcasing that discipline and hard work are essential in all we do.
Congratulations to our High School teams for their resounding victories against Carter High School PMB on Saturday, 13 April. The results were as follows: u/14 won 59-0, u/16 won 63-0 and our 1st team won 48-15.
Our u/11 and u/13 sports teams enjoyed fixtures against Kokstad Primary School on Saturday. The results were as follows: u/11 Hockey won 1-0 and our u/13’s drew 1-1. u/11 Netball won 8-0 and the u/13’s lost 2-12. Our u/11 and u/13 Rugby teams lost their matches to strong opposition.
