HS Sports vs Southcity Christian School

On Saturday, our High School sports teams engaged with Southcity Christian School in a series of matches. In netball, the 1st team's match resulted in a nail-biting 23-23 draw. However, our u/16 netball team beat SCS 17-9. Shifting to rugby, our 1st team emerged victorious with a solid win of 25-16, and our u/14’s maintained their momentum, beating SCS 17-5. Both our 1st and u/16 hockey teams battled it out. The 1st team match ended in a deadlock, with KEHS and SCS evenly matched at 1-1. Similarly, the u/16 hockey teams couldn't be separated, ending the game with a draw of 0-0.

SP Hockey vs KJS

On 15 May, our hockey teams played KJS where our u/11A team held KJS A to a thrilling 1-1 draw, while our u/11B team beat KJS B 3-1. Meanwhile, our u/13’s went head-to-head against KJS in closely contested encounters. Our u/13A team fought hard to secure a 1-1 draw against KJS A. Similarly, the u/13B engaged in a tightly contested match, resulting in a 0-0 draw. The matches were characterised by good spirited competition and sportsmanship.

Sports vs Bergview

Our SP rugby teams demonstrated their strength against Bergview on Wednesday. Our u/11 team showed a dominant performance, with an impressive 72-0 victory, and our u/13 team continued their winning streak with a 71-5 triumph. These rugby teams continue to excel and uphold the proud tradition of rugby at our school. Numerous other fixtures allowed us to give all our learners a chance to compete and build on a good relationship with Bergview.

St Monica’s 7’s Rugby Festival

Our u/16 rugby team participated in the St. Monica's 7's Rugby Festival on Saturday. The event featured teams from St. Monica's, KEHS, Bergview, Focused, and Maclear. KEHS won their round robin matches, and secured the second position in the tournament after losing to Maclear in the finals.

u/12 & u/13 Sharks Trials

The u/12 South Coast team won three of their four games in their regional competition and KZN Trials. We are proud of our seven players who represented South Coast u/12 and u/13.
