Kinderstrand, Glenmore Beach
On Monday, 26 February, a group of 42 grade 5 learners left for Kinderstrand, Glenmore Beach. For five days they participated in high and low rope activities, honing their teamwork skills in the “acid” dam, beach and swimming activities. They were thoroughly tested but fears were overcome and taxing tasks ending with smiles and a sense of accomplishment. On Thursday evening a busy week ended with a concert by campfire. Thank you to Kinderstrand and their personnel for a wonderful week of strenuous exercise and good food.
