Our First Girls Hockey are Spar Champions for the 4th year running. The girls played four pool games in the regional championships and the results were as follows: KEHS vs. St Monica’s 1-0, KEHS vs. Ixopo 6-0, KEHS vs. South City 0-0 and KEHS vs. Port Shepstone 1-0. After finishing on the top of their pool, the team played in a cross pool semi-final against Suid Natal, which they won 2-0, securing their place in the final against the hosts of the day, Kokstad College. It was a nail-biting game which resulted in an eight second penalty shootout. Here KEHS scored two goals to win the tournament. We look forward to defending our title next year!
