Our environmental team thoroughly enjoyed the National Enviro Quiz hosted by Kokstad College on Tuesday, 15 May. Our learners performed really well, taking four of the top five positions in individual performance. Congratulations to Aditya Nair for achieving first place. Kaleb Rawlins was placed second with Kaden Duminy and Emmanuel van Jaarsveld were placed fourth and fifth respectively. Together with Ian MacDougal, from St Patricks, they will represent East Griqualand schools in the Provincial competition. Mixed teams from the various schools participated in the group event with the audience volunteering answers just as eagerly. David Wills was in the team placed third, Kaden Duminy in the team coming second and Emmanuel van Jaarsveld and Bocha Thipa in the winning team. Thank you to all the youngsters who participated and to the Wildlife Society who ran the event. It was a splendid evening.
