E.G. Schools Athletics Meeting

On Friday, 24 August King Edward High School hosted an excellent E.G. Schools Athletics meeting. The programme ran like clockwork and the behaviour of the learners from all 6 schools was exemplary – Bergview, Focussed, King Edward, Kokstad College, St Monicas and St Patricks.

The occasion was a showcase of all that it positive in East Griqualand Education – structure, discipline, unity and outstanding performance.

A total of 13 records were broken or equalled.

Juniour Victrix Ludorum was awarded to Codi Maartens and Noah Maartens received the Juniour Victor Ludorum. Kayla Harris received the Senior Victrix Ludorum and Kaden Duminy the Senior Victor Ludorum. Once again King Edward emerged as comfortable winners but all participating schools are to be congratulated on an amazing day of sport.
