Menlo Park Athletics Meeting - 2019
A Pietermaritzburg Invitational Team took part in the Menlo Park Athletics meeting in Pretoria on 1 February 2019. Nine of our athletes were selected for this team. All did very well, despite challenges such as rain which made it difficult for our throwers in the discus and shot-put circles. KEHS is very proud of our athletes, and we wish them all the best for the upcoming events!
The results of our nine athletes are as follows:
- Aaron Lombard: Boys U19 - 1st in Shot Put = 16.08m, 5th in Discus = 44,07m
- Karabo Sekese: Boys U16 - 2nd in Long Jump = 5,96m
- Anathi Madikizela: Girls U16 - 4th in Shot Put = 10,55m, 6th in Discus = 26,46m
- Sine Matam: Boys U16 - 5th in Shot Put = 13,24m, 8th in Discus = 38,04m
- Joshua Sweetnam: Boys U14 - 7th in Shot Put = 12,44m, 9th in Discus = 28,31
- Abubuhle Ntloko: Girls U15 - 10th in Discus = 18,97m
- Benjamin Dickson: Boys U16 - 10th in Shot Put = 11,85m, 14th in Discus = 22,12m
- Sibulele Feni: Boys U16 - 10th in 200m = 25,40sec, 11th in 100m = 12,20sec
- Justin Nel: Boys U19 - 14th in 200m = 24,90sec, 17th in 100m = 11,80sec
