HS Sport vs Kokstad College
On 16 April, our high school teams faced Kokstad College in what is always a much-anticipated annual derby against our arch-rivals. Our rugby sides produced excellent results, with the U14’s winning 36–7, the U16’s dominating 62–0, and our 1st team grinding out a solid 10–3 victory. In hockey, our U16’s held their opponents to a goalless draw, while the 1st team narrowly lost 2–1 in a tightly contested match. On the netball courts, we continued our strong form, with the U16 team winning 25–8 against Focused and our 1st team securing a confident 23–11 victory over Kokstad College.

SP Sport vs Rivermead
Our U11 and U13 rugby and netball teams played against Rivermead on 15 April. In netball, we dominated play, with our U11 side securing an impressive 21–0 victory and our U13 team following up with a strong 13–3 win. On the rugby field, we were equally formidable, as our U11 team ran in an emphatic 84–0 win, while our U13 side completed the clean sweep with a commanding 67–0 result.
Chess vs Focused
On 16 April, our chess teams took on Focused in a series of matches. Team B delivered an exceptional performance, winning all three rounds convincingly with scores of 4–1, 4–1 and 5–0. Team A faced a tougher challenge, losing each round, but showed determination throughout the competition.
KEHS JP & SP Winter Sports Festival
Our Winter Sports Festival for the junior and senior primary teams on 18 April was a highly successful day, filled with plenty of sport and great support from the large number of people in attendance. It was a fantastic display of participation and development across netball, hockey and rugby. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to making the day such a success.
Netball - Winter Sport Day
In netball, our U9 teams recorded one draw and two losses, while our U11 teams remained unbeaten with two wins and a draw. Our U13 teams secured one win and one loss, demonstrating steady progress.
In hockey, our U7 teams achieved five wins and three losses across all matches, while the U8 teams enjoyed an excellent outing with seven wins and one draw. The U9 teams recorded three wins and five losses, and our U11 teams remained unbeaten with three wins and two draws. At U13 level, we achieved three wins, one draw and two losses.
Tag Rugby - Winter Sport Day
On the rugby fields, our U7 teams secured two wins, two draws and two losses. The U8 teams achieved three wins, one draw and two losses overall. At U9 level, we recorded one win and three losses. Our U11 team performed well with two wins from two matches, and at the U13 level, we secured two wins and two losses from our teams.
U13 Hockey - Winter Sport Day
Overall, it was a highly successful and enjoyable day of sport for over 900 learners.
