KEHS rugby and netball perform at Ugie Sports Day

Last Saturday the u11 rugby team, along with the u13 rugby and netball teams, travelled to Ugie to take part in the Ugie Sports Day.

The u13 netball team attended the sports day for the first time and beat Maclear 6-1, won 6-1 against Umthatha, and lost 5-2 against Vela. The girls played very well and enjoyed taking part in the tournament, also winning the Best Spirit Award.

The rugby teams enjoyed excellent matches. The u11 rugby team played three matches, beating Umthatha 5-0, winning 12-7 against Ugie, and losing 5-0 against the Maclear Presbyterian team. What a good ending to a great season!

The u13 team played against Ugie and won their match 61-0.

Thank you to the coaches and the parents who travelled to Ugie to show their support. Congratulations to all who played and made King Edward proud!
