KEHS learners spell their way to the top

On 10 August Grade 4 to 6 King Edward High School learners participated in the Education Department’s Annual Spelling Bee. Lihle Nontwana (Grade 5) and Esona Nikiwe (Grade 6) spelled their way to the second round which was held at KEHS on 16 August. We would like to congratulate Esona who won the district round and is going through to the Provincial Spelling Bee in East London next month!

Vision

It is our aim to develop, or help develop, a well-balanced individual, with the ability to apply the values he/she has acquired in the daily classroom situation. We strive to perform our duty in the knowledge that we are shaping young people who will, in the future, carry the responsibility for the survival of our nation. This demands the development of all aspects of the child’s being – namely academic, cultural, religious and sporting.
