On Friday, 16 August, four schools congregated on KC’s fields to participate in the annual Interschools Meeting. The sun shone, the wind blew, and the athletes competed passionately. Records were broken, school flags were flown and good sportsmanship was shown throughout. Competition was tough, but King Edward emerged as the overall victor. Some of our athletes received best in their age group awards: Kayla Harris best girls open athlete, Justin Nel as runner up athlete in the boys open age group, Ngawo Sidaza best athlete for U15, Blessing Chinzete best in U14 and Joshua Sweetnam runner up for U14. Junior Victor Ludorum went to Blessing Chinzete, and Senior Victor Ludorum to Ethan Duminy, while the Senior Victrix Ludorum was Kayla Harris.
