Valentine’s Ball - February 2022

The easing of Covid-19 regulations meant that we are now able to claw back some form of normalcy. The Valentine ball, held on the 17th of February, was an excellent example of ushering in a new season. The evening lived up to its expectations as learners came dressed accordingly. Swanky pink, red and white attire, glittering faces and dancing shoes were the order of the evening. The hall, the scene of ball, was decked with an array of brightly coloured balloons, paper cut-out hearts, and heart-shaped doilies on the tables.

There was an air of excitement with the arrival of learners for the much needed fun. Girls received red roses and chocolates from their dates. Food and drinks were thoroughly consumed and enjoyed. Afterwards the dancing commenced. Learners danced to eclectic music of diverse language and genre. This is testament to the inclusive ethos of the school: unity in diversity. Overall, the ball was a roaring success and learners tremendous fun.
