SACSSA National Athletics Invitational Meeting

A strong contingent of 61 athletes from KEHS proudly represented KwaZulu-Natal at the SACSSA National Athletics Invitational Meeting in Pietermaritzburg on 26-27 September. Our athletes delivered outstanding performances, returning home with an impressive total of 38 medals: 10 Gold, 20 Silver and 8 Bronze.
Amongst the highlights of the event was a record-breaking achievement by Qiana Haddon-Davies, who set a new mark in the girls’ u8 turbo javelin with a distance of 16.64m, surpassing the previous record of 16.20m set in 2010.

Another noteworthy accomplishment came from Laytham Tatchell, who earned the recognition of 3rd Best Junior Boy in the 7–9 age group.
We are exceptionally proud of the dedication and effort shown by our athletes who represented KEHS and KwaZulu-Natal with distinction.
