Beautiful hockey was played by the second boys’ team in their decisive victory over St Patricks on Friday afternoon. Quick passing and excellent positional play saw them on constant attack and with several opportunities to score. Our 5-0 victory was well deserved. Excellent individual skills were evident during the First Team match where the King Edward Team emerged as 1-0 winners. More game time together will help the King Edward Team to become a very dangerous unit. Rudi du Randt had an excellent game at goalkeeper, thwarting the two opportunities St Patricks had to even the score. Many thanks to Bruce and Nolan for their coaching. Their influence is really starting to show.
