Sevens Tournament hosted by St Monicas
Our U/16 and First rugby teams impressed greatly in the Sevens Tournament hosted by St Monicas on Saturday. Our u/16s achieved high scores against St Monicas, Bergview and Focussed, ensuring the face-off against Ixopo in the final which we won. Unam Sotshongaye won the award for the best try of the tournament. Mention must be made that our U/16 boys did not concede a single try in the entire tournament. Bergview and King Edward impressed the most in the First team division, sealing their spots in the final. This was played in the heat of the day, and at half time there was a seven all deadlock. But once again, the fitness and training of our long season paid off and KEHS raced to a big lead in the second half and won the overall tournament. Our Head Boy Kaden Duminy, was selected as the best sevens player of the day. Well done boys!
