On the second of June, our SP netball, rugby and hockey teams travelled to Suid Natal to take part in their Winter Sports day. Our hockey Girls excelled. The u/11’s drew 2:2 with Suid Natal, they beat Creston 2:1, Warner Beach 7:0 and Gelofte 5:0. The u/13A side, not to be outdone won 6 of their 7 fixtures. Netball is a developing sport at King Edward and the scores reflected great progress being made. It was an excellent day, and our teams did extremely well. It was a wonderful experience for our teams to play against South Coast and Durban teams and perform so well. Thank you to Suid Natal Primary School for a well organised and absolutely fun day!
