RUGBY vs Ixopo
On Saturday, 21 July, Ixopo brought their first netball and rugby teams as well as their u/14 and u/16 rugby boys to King Edward. The games were played in good spirit and with great energy and dedication. Our girls won their match 16:8.
The u/14 rugby boys dominated their game and won 29:5. The u/16’s lost 10:12. Our first rugby played their final game of the season. It was a very tough game but the boys on both sides played their hearts out. KEHS ended up winning the game 36-0, but they had to fight hard for each point made. The boys had a great season but it would not have been such a success had we not had the support of our sponsors and supporters. We would like to commend Ixopo for being such great sportsmen on the day. We would also like to wish Philip du Randt, our captain, good luck on his tour to Ireland. Thank you to Louis du Toit for his expert coaching this season.
