Once again KEHS’s grade sevens enjoyed their annual tour the Cape. Our learners had the opportunity to see and do many things: including birds of Eden and the Knysna Elephant park. The learners and teachers could touch and feed the elephants! We also had a great time in George at the strawberry farm, completing the biggest maze in the Southern Hemisphere. Wilgewandel at Oudshoorn had a programme that included the Cango Caves, ostrich farm, camel rides and a trip to Mossel Bay. Sadly, we could not enjoy our boat ride due to bad weather. We did, however, go to the waterpark at Diaz beach instead where some of the learners swam with a shark! After a nine-day trip we spent our last night in Graaf-Reinet before making our way home – both tired and wiser.
