Alfred Nzo Spelling Bee

On 7 August 2018, two King Edward High School learners, Thlonolofatso Ramokoai and Thina Nyembezi, took part in the regional Alfred Nzo Spelling Bee competition. This was held in the main hall at King Edward High School. The two were diligent with their preparations, and they performed wonderfully. Despite very tough competition, Thlonolofatso took first place and Thina second. Thlonolofatso will now be travelling to East London to take part in the provincial phase of the competition where he will be representing the Alfred Nzo district.

Vision

It is our aim to develop, or help develop, a well-balanced individual, with the ability to apply the values he/she has acquired in the daily classroom situation. We strive to perform our duty in the knowledge that we are shaping young people who will, in the future, carry the responsibility for the survival of our nation. This demands the development of all aspects of the child’s being – namely academic, cultural, religious and sporting.
