PUKKE TOP 30

Two of our athletes took part in the PUKKE TOP 30 athletics meeting held in Potchefstroom on the weekend of 19 October. With 2065 athletes competing it was the biggest athletics meeting in Africa. Joshua Sweetnam (U14) and Aaron Lombard (U19) represented the SACCSA Team. Both of them were selected for Discus and Shot Put. Joshua's competition was intense with over 56 boys competing. He managed 13th place in the Shot Put and was unfortunate in the Discus.

Aaron did extremely well and finished second in the Shot Put and first in the Discus. With the extreme weather temperatures our two athletes performed very well. Congratulations to both Aaron and Joshua.

Matric Tea - 2019

On Friday, 18 October we held our annual Matric Tea where the Grade 12s of 2019 bade the school farewell. Mrs Naidoo and Mr Harrison addressed the pupils and parents. Gifts were handed out to the matric teachers, and the grade 11s presented each of the matrics with a memento from the school. Thereafter we enjoyed the much anticipated refreshments. A big thank you to Spar and Pick ‘n Pay for their generous sponsorship of platters.
