Congratulations to Esihle Moyo who took the silver medal in the Girls U9 Cross Country Event in Underberg.
On Saturday, 27 July, our Netball teams took part in the SPAR tournament in Kokstad. Our U14 and U16 teams played against Shayamoya and Kokstad College. They enjoyed their games. Thank you to the organisers.
U14 Netball Team
On Friday, 19 July, our U13 Boys Hockey team travelled to Kokstad for the KJS Boys Hockey Festival. They played 5 games where they won 3 and drew 2. The results were as follows: KJS drew 1:1, Ixopo won 2:0, KPS2 won 2:0, UPS won 4:0, KPS1 drew 0:0.
On Saturday, 20 July, the U13 Boys Hockey also participated in the Wartburg U13 Boys Hockey Festival. Once again the boys excelled, winning all 4 of their games. The results were as follows: Treverton 3:0, Wembley 4:0, Claredon 1:0, UPS 5:0.
Also, on this frosty Saturday morning, 20 July, KEHS were part of the Underburg Boys Hockey Festival.
Our U7 boys won 2 and lost 2 of their games.
Our U8’s also won 2 and lost 2.
The U9’s displayed excellent skills, winning all four their games: Lynford 4:0, SPC 3:2, KJS 2:1 and New Hanover 4:0.
The U11 boys played 4 games, winning two and drawing two.
All the boys were on top form and played well. Thank you to all the opposition coaches and schools who attended. Special mention must be made of our learners Kholekile Bam, Unam Sotshongaye and Kamva Nonjiji, for their valued umpiring and coaching.

On Sunday, 21 July, our Mountain Bike Team took part in the Scottburgh MTB Classic in the 10km, 28km and 45km race. In the 28km race Caleb Sweetnam and Eathan Phizacklea both came 4th in their age categories.

On the 21st of June 2019, four King Edward Boys, Keagan Watkinson, Justin Nel, Yanga Nyanga & Stephan Terblanche travelled to Reitz as part of the Southern KZN U/19 Rugby Team to participated in the Annual U/19 Reitz Platteland Rugby Tournament. There were 10 Provincial Teams at this Tournament. The Southern KZN Team played 3 games of which they won 1. We would to thank their coaches for coaching and looking after the boys.
